Who We Are? |
We are non-profit-making non-governmental organization (NGO) registered with the District Administration Office of Lalitpur in the year 1999 and affiliate with the Social Welfare Council of Nepal. The Bishram Griha was initiated as a result of a exposure visit of Believers Professional's Fellowship (BPF) to Mumbai and seeing the heart-rending and miserable sight of the helpless girls who look forwarded to the exodus from hell-like living conditions and slavery.
We were touched by the conditions of the Nepali girls in the brothels of the Indian cities. Some of these girls, when visited expressed their strong desire to return back to the country and become productive citizens once again. Therefore, as a desire of BPF to support them in their effort to return to the country and help those PLWHA live a dignified life this project has been initiated. |
